The player matching all five numbers and the Powerball won the $258.5 Million jackpot. 29-year-old Missouri convenience store clerk won $258 Million Dollars. Chris Shaw played the winning PowerBall numbers 11-34-41-49-55-PB 20. No one in Rhode Island got lucky, but Chris Shaw of Missouri sure did.
At the time of winning the PowerBall lottery ticket, Chris Shaw was making $7.25 per hour at a local convenience store in rural Missouri. The Break Time convenience store will also receive $50,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The PowerBall drawing was held Wednesday night, April 21, 2010, at 10:59pm EST. Rhode Island started playing the PowerBall game in 1988.
